A devoted husband, father and grandfather, William Herbert “Bert” Wilson, died peacefully at his home in Barrie, Ontario, on Saturday, January 29th, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
He lived his life full of resilience, determination and optimism. When he suffered a stroke that led to many health challenges and recently was diagnosed with cancer, he tackled those in the same way. He was a person who met life’s adversities with unwavering grace and grit.
His family intends to build on his legacy by inviting donations to be made in his memory to support the Integrated Stroke and Rehab Unit and David and Catherine Hudson Regional Cancer Centre at RVH.
On behalf of his wife, children and grandchildren, thank you for choosing to honour Bert’s life with a gift to RVH.
